Online CIRS Consults: Where to Start, and How to Reduce Ongoing Mould & Biotoxin Exposure
Online consults are available now, Australia-wide (my on-site inspections are paused until 2027 while I'm on maternity leave).
If you've recently been diagnosed with Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) - also known as toxic mould illness or biotoxin illness - you're not alone in feeling overwhelmed.
Many people get a diagnosis, start treatment, and still feel stuck. Usually it's not because they're doing anything wrong - it's because ongoing environmental and biotoxin exposure hasn't been fully addressed. The most common question I hear is: "Where do I even start?"
That's exactly what an online CIRS consult is for.
CIRS Is Often Driven by Ongoing Environmental Exposure
For many people with CIRS, symptoms aren't just coming from the body - they're being continually triggered by the environment. Mould and water-damaged buildings are the best-known culprits, but there are often other biotoxin exposures involved that simply aren't on people's radar yet. Until those drivers are identified and managed, it can be very hard to stabilise, even with the right medical care.
What is a CIRS consult?
A CIRS consult is a one-hour online Zoom call focused on the environmental and exposure-related factors that may be keeping your symptoms going. Wherever you are in Australia, we'll work through your situation together to help you:
Understand how your symptoms relate to your environment
Identify common but often-missed exposure sources
Consider mould and other relevant biotoxin exposures
Prioritise practical next steps - without the overwhelm
This is not a medical consultation. The focus is environmental triggers, exposure patterns, and practical ways to reduce your ongoing inflammatory load - the piece most people don't get from their doctor.
What we cover in your CIRS consultation
Topics we often explore include:
Symptom patterns at home versus away
Room-specific reactions
Moisture, ventilation and condensation issues
Contents and cross-contamination risks
Everyday habits that can unintentionally worsen exposure
Practical exposure-control strategies, including small-particle cleaning
Biotoxin exposures that may not have been considered yet, but are relevant to CIRS
The aim is clarity - not doing everything at once.
An optional pre-consult questionnaire
Before your consult, you'll be offered a detailed but optional questionnaire. It's designed to help you reflect on your home, habits and exposures; highlight what you're already doing well; gently flag areas that could be contributing; and capture biotoxin exposures that are often missed. Many people find that simply reading through the questions helps them connect patterns they hadn't before.
If brain fog, fatigue or overwhelm make it feel like too much, that's completely okay - it's optional, and we can still have a great discussion on the call.
This Is About Clarity, Not Perfection
Navigating CIRS doesn't require perfection (even if the online groups make you feel like it does). It requires prioritisation, sequencing, and understanding where your biggest exposure drivers actually are.
Who these online CIRS consults are for
A CIRS consult may help if you:
Have recently been diagnosed with CIRS and feel unsure where to start
Are treating CIRS but not stabilising
Suspect your home or belongings may still be contributing
Want to understand whether other biotoxin exposures may be playing a role
Are post-remediation and want to reduce the risk of re-exposure
Want practical, environment-focused guidance without the overwhelm
How to book an online CIRS consult
The Mould & CIRS Consultation is a one-hour Zoom call for $190 (GST included). A 30-minute follow-up call for returning clients is available too. If you complete the optional questionnaire, that includes up to 15 minutes of review time beforehand, at no extra charge - and most clients say the clarity they get is worth well beyond the cost.
